He was the youngest ever Friesian Studbook stallion to be awarded the Preferent status. Tsjalle 454 has contributed significantly to the modernisation of the breed by passing on his youthfulness and elegance to his offspring. He was instantly popular with the breeders from the moment of his approval in 2009. At age three Tsjalle 454 was entered into the Central Examination and the Stallion Inspection Committee remembers Tsjalle as a very hardworking stallion, and they were quite taken with his characteristic show driving movement. They said not many horses make such an aristocratic front as Tsjalle 454 when pulling the sjees and also excellent use of the hind legs. He is extraordinary in terms of legwork and conformation.
Tsjalle is a youthful and modern stallion with nice uphill confirmation. He stands out because of his flexibility, good use of back legs and his beautiful posture. He brings his hindleg under his hindquarters, sits and makes good use of his back. In the canter he has a lot of elevation, which is important in dressage. Tsjalle scored 91.5 points for the harness test, among which he scored a 9 for the front leg. He has an honest and kind character.
He has 3 approved sons (Jehannes 484, Yme 507 and Tymen 503).
